I'm so excited about this. I've drooled over endless pictures of Bentos in Flicker and online (here, here, and here) but had yet to make one. As it's Christmas and my girl has taken a considerable interest in cooking lately I decided to make her a Bento to take to Kindy.The snowman is mashed potato. His eyes and buttons are sultanas, the hat is ham and scarf is cheese. The Christmas tree is broccoli and decorations are cheese and carrot. the two red things are meant to be mushroom toadstools made of half a cherry tomato and cheese as the stalk. The rest is just salad packed in.
As if that wasn't grand enough, she also had the added bonus of an iced cookie! (Recipe here)
